Dinosaur books outdated... AGAIN!!! (Sneak Peak)

Well, so long Mei and Kol... you've finally been outnamed, if that's even possible. Introducing the newly named scansoriopterygid Yi qi (pronounced ee-chee, and meaning "Strange Wing" in Mandarin). This awesome dinosaur is an excellent example of a scientific theory called Convergent Evolution, where different types of animals evolve similar characteristics in order to adapt to a similar environment. In this case, Yi had wings similar to a bat, even though these two animals were not closely related. Other examples include the stream-line, aquatic style of Icthyosaurs and dolphins.
  Fossils of this dinosaur also show that it was covered in a dense layer of bristly feathers.
